LZ Lambeau

On May 2010, Vietnam War Veterans, their familits and frends will spend a seecial time at Lambeau Field.  this event is a welcome Home Celebration and only the fourth time Lambeau Field has been used for any thing othere than NFL activities..  This event will include serverl days of concerts, reuniions, exhibits, the Golden Knights will jump in,  and it has been rumored that ca certain read head that entertained the troops in Vietman will be there at the USO tent.

The LZ Lambeau (LZL) Allies Committee is a group of Interested Parties. These Interested Parties include volunteers representing the organizations Interested making LZL a success - a wide range of members from: Vet, Civic, Business orgs, and Individuals.

At the first meeting on Oct 24th in Green Bay, many areas where identified where more work was needed and input required from the Interested Parties. 

 Two of these areas are: VMess and VIP Kiosk. 

 

VMess is short for “A Consolidated Veteran Mess Hall”

Here is the Objective paragraph from the straw man project proposal that was developed for this initiative.

OBJECTIVE

Implement one or more VMess during LZL where Interested Veteran Service Organizations can work as a unified command to: prepare, cook, and distribute selected food items to the LZL attendees. These cooperative efforts will; bring an equitable division of financial contributions, labor, and distribution of profits to the participating Veteran Service Organizations - where the reward will be metered by the contribution.

 

VIP is short for “Veteran Information Program (VIP)”

OBJECTIVE

Implement one or more VIP Kiosk(s) during LZL where Interested Veterans can; identify, assess, ask for more information, and initiate registration with the appropriate Veteran Service Organization(s).
